Everlasting love??

1. Courtship stage wherein you know him/her from top to bottom. Know everything about his/her life, goals, dreams, hobbies, family, strengths, weaknesses... pretty much everything about him. A key step to having a lasting relationship is knowing your partner absolutely 100%. Same thing goes for you wherein you let your partner know you 100%.

2. Trust is also key in a everlasting relationship. Never ever doubt your partner. Always believe in him/her with proper reasons. Trust him/her during in times of trouble within your relationship.

3. Communication is an essential thing in a relationship. Always talk with each other about things that happened for the both of you everyday. It is much better in person than in a call or text. This builds up your relationship.

4. Do not entertain any other guy/girl if you have a current relationship. Stick with only the guy/girl you are currently with. The point of this is commitment. Commitment is essential in an everlasting relationship. Being committed in a relationship tells so much about a person which is being a solid person in his/her relationship. To be with your partner forever. Also in Marriage, a commitment is important to make your marriage last until death.

5. Always have a day in a week wherein you will be together for a day (at least). It would be much better if you will allot a time everyday wherein you will be together. This is important because in marriage you will always be together forever. So better start it earlier in your relationship.

6. Be honest with each other. Always tell the truth to each other. Even when there are unwanted consequences you should still tell the truth.

7. Love. Let me define love first. Love is the highest form of self-giving to another person. You give yourself to the person you love to the point that you will be with him/her until death. Love him/her until the end.

8. Marriage. You and your partner should be married in the sacrament of Matrimony. This entails that you become one. Meaning you and your partner own each other as husband and wife. This is to permanently seal your relationship until death in front of God.

9. Have a same spiritual life together. Ensure that you both have the same religion so that there would be no conflicts in your ideas in the midst of your relationship.

10. Do not have sexual intercourse for the sake of pleasure. Sexual intercourse should only be done for the sake of begetting children for your family. With both of you willingly accepting it and not forcing it. Sexual Intercourse for the sake of pleasure makes your relationship like objects. You use each other as objects for pleasure only. You objectify yourself and your partner instead of valuing the person you love for who he/she is.
